Radiology Associates currently offers full service Nuclear Medicine Departments at Radiology Diagnostic Center, French Hospital Medical Center, and Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center. The array of diagnostic examinations and therapeutic treatments equals that offered by most university medical centers. The Departments are supervised by a fully credentialed, Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Specialist. And, all of the technologists for these Departments are fully certified Nuclear Medicine Technologists.

Though radioactive materials are utilized in the diagnostic examinations of the Nuclear Medicine Departments, the amount of exposure to the patient is often less than that sustained from X-Ray or CT procedures. Most often, the information derived from Nuclear Medicine studies cannot be replicated by other imaging modalities. And, the staff of our Departments is dedicated to minimizing radiation exposure and maximizing diagnostic and therapeutic benefit to the patient.

Below is a list of the studies and treatments available at our Departments including required scheduling notification time (for ordering isotopes) and duration of studies.
